Meet the cardiologist and scientist behind the groundbreaking Kisel-10 study, which demonstrated a difference in microRNA and telomeres in elderly people who received selenium and Q10 supplements (or a placebo). The results of this study are so distinct and comprehensive, that it has led to 20 sub-studies!
It’s not often that nutrition research shows such robust results when dealing with physical wellbeing- which makes it all the more exciting when we can offer solid numbers from acclaimed scientists. We have gained vast amounts of knowledge from the Kisel-10-study not limited to life quality, inflammation, oxidative stress and longevity.
How to attend this one-day-only event
Pharma Nord UK is proud to present the Swedish professor and cardiologist Urban Alehagen at two seminars on the 13th of July 2022 at the Royal Society of Medicine in London.
The event is designed for health professionals and nutrition-focused practitioners.
Through the Kisel-10 study, 443 elderly Swedish participants between the ages of 70 and 87 received either a placebo or 200 mg of Q10 Bio-Quinone and 200 mcg of SelenoPrecise every day for four years. Subsequently, one could see significant differences between the two groups concerning important health markers.
50,000 blood samples were collected throughout the study. In addition to following up on the participants 10 and 12 years after the start of the project, these blood samples have been studied and have been able to provide many interesting answers to what difference the two supplements have made on a cellular level.
About the event:
The seminars will take place on the 13th of July at 12.30 pm and 6.30 pm
The address is: The Royal Society Of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 0AE
